What is Bring a Doctor Home Bursary?
Working in partnership with NOSM University, Algoma Steel Employees have hosted its annual hockey tournament that focuses on raising money for the Bring a Doctor Home Bursary. Since its conception in 2006, the tournament has raised $486,951.93 towards the bursary and have been successful in bringing doctors back to Sault Ste. Marie. Read more about the bursary here.
Why We Do It?
" My name is Amanda and I am a fourth year medical student at NOSM University! My goal is to become a psychiatrist and return to my hometown of Sault Ste. Marie.
